In 2020, things around the world were changing drastically. A lot of issues people and government were facing because of the COVID-19, but there is also a huge social commotion. BLM (Black lives matter) was a huge impact on society, and this event has the community takes the action, and really focus on the racial discrimination issue.
Several American police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota detained a black man on the ground during the law enforcement process and put a fatal place on the back of the man’s neck. Of course, there was no problem seeing here. After all, the crime was controlled by the man. The man has been begging “let me breathe, I can’t breathe”. However, he was indifferent to the placement of the American police and eventually died of suffocation due to breathing difficulties. The question is. Although the possession of guns is not prohibited in the United States so that the police themselves are life-threatening. When they are on duty, they have already controlled the personnel. Can’t it be done with a hand to buckle? It’s not easier and more relaxed. Conveniently, no tragedy will happen.
The protestors are going through each local police department to cause a disturbance, but this action motivated people to causing even more disturbance to other place that has noting to asscoiate with police. Bussiness was shutting down, the small business owners went homeless, and you might think how is BLM has anything to do with these economic issues, but if you think back closely, the protestors aren’t just targeting the police department, but every store or restaurant was being targeted.
It can be seen from this incident that racial discrimination exists in the United States, and the black man’s status is low. In the end, four police officers knelt down on the head and neck and died of suffocation on the spot.
In fact, the issue of racial discrimination in the United States is not limited to blacks. Chinese people have also experienced racial discrimination in the United States. Even blacks may discriminate against us in the past. It is only with the improvement of China’s national strength in recent years that it has more and more voice and status in the world. The country is the biggest pillar behind the Chinese. When the country stands up, the Chinese backbone will be straightened.
I do think a movement should be made, but causing a riot is not the only way that’s left for people. Is fair to say there is a protestor that is using this opportunity for its benefits, but this is only consuming the death of a person, and is committing a crime under the banner of mourning for the dead. Breaking into shops, stores, and fliping a random person’s car does not say peaceful, and these actions are exactly what “they” want to see and show to people.
